Clinical research coordinators Kierstin Luber and Nicole Gaudin have joined our team. Kierstin is our tissue banking guru, and Nicole is working on clinical trials. Welcome Kierstin and Nicole!
Daniel Fisher is the recipient of a highly selective postdoctoral fellowship award from the American Cancer Society. Congratulations Daniel!
MCB graduate student Steve Snyder has joined the lab. Welcome Steve!
MCB graduate student Taylor Brost has officially joined the lab. Welcome Taylor!
A postdoc position is currently available in the lab. See here for more information.
See here for more information about the recently established Center for Human Immunology and Immunotherapy Programs (CHiiPs). Dr. Oh is the co-head of the Immunomonitoring Laboratory within CHiiPs, which operates two CyTOF2 mass cytometers.
The Oh Lab's study utilizing whole genome sequencing to delinate clonal evolution in a patient with primary myelofibrosis transformed to secondary acute myeloid leukemia has been accepted to Leukemia and is now available online.
Steve is the recipient of a joint award from the Doris Duke Foundation and the Damon Runyon Cancer Foundation. This award will support efforts of the Oh lab to investigate dysregulated signaling in MPNs.
Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation 6/23/14 Doris Duke Foundation 7/31/14 Dr. Oh and colleagues have been awarded a Shared Instrumentation Grant to support the acquisition of a 2nd CyTOF mass cytometer. Washington University now becomes one of only a handful of academic institutions with multiple CyTOF instruments, thus greatly increasing access to this highly innovative technology.
A recently installed time-of-flight mass cytometer (CyTOF) is the centerpiece of an immunomonitoring laboratory within the newly established Center for Human Immunology and Immunotherapy Programs (CHiiPs). As Director of Mass Cytometry for CHiiPs, Dr. Oh will oversee the implementation of this innovative technology for a wide array of studies encompassing immunoprofiling and cancer cell signaling.
